Skylar Hollabaugh Counseling is pleased to announce that their co-owner, Heath Hollabaugh, has graduated from Penn State University with a master’s degree in human resources and employer relations. With an exceptional GPA of 3.97, Hollabaugh completed an in-depth capstone project discussing the effects of employee mental health, particularly addressing stigma and success.


During his coursework at Penn State University, Hollabaugh worked on this capstone project to highlight the effects of stigma and success on employee mental health, which can significantly impact a company’s performance and workplace culture. This project acknowledged the role of stigma on a business’s ability to address employee mental health. Hollabaugh detailed the most effective ways to fight stigma and implement an effective plan to develop a more informed workplace that places employee mental health as a priority.


Skylar Hollabaugh Counseling aims to implement the elements of the capstone project that was completed as part of Heath Hollabaugh’s education to supplement their two-pronged focus. The counseling practice aims to help individuals rediscover their genuine and authentic selves by exploring their inner thoughts, experiences, and emotions to empower them to reconnect with their core identity and foster personal growth.
