Rabbi Mendel and Mussi
Weinfeld serve as the directors of the organization. They moved
to San Jose at the start of 2020. They were born and raised in
Brooklyn, New York, and are members of the Chabad community headed by the Lubavitcher
Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneersohn. It was
his vision that led them to move down as his emissaries to service the Jewish
community.
The Chabad House offers a wide
variety of educational and spiritual opportunities for Jews of all
backgrounds who want to learn more about their Jewish roots. From holiday celebrations to adult education
classes, a Hebrew school experience your children will
treasure, and Shabbat dinners, Chabad has something for every Jew.
Everyone is welcome at Chabad
regardless of their personal level of religious observance. Allow yourself the
opportunity to join for services, a holiday program, or just stop in to say
hello and participate in our vibrant Jewish family.
