About The Rutledge Room

Established September 1855

Welcome to The Rutledge Room, an intimate venue located at 207 Rutledge Avenue, in the heart of the Cannonborough-Elliotborough neighborhood of Charleston, South Carolina. The historic details, including original ceiling tiles and exposed brick, blend brilliantly with the site’s modern finishes, making it the perfect backdrop for your next social, wedding, anniversary or corporate event. With just over 3,000 feet of total event space, The Rutledge Room has been outfitted with extensive A/V features to maximize the use of the venue and streamline set up for outside talent and performers.
