A contractor, who is really good at his or her service, decides to be in business for themselves but they only have a vague idea of how to sell it. Often times the contractor will go into business for hisself with little or no Sales Training and no Sales Coabhing. So usually they try to throw money at the problem with advertising and often times they just have to provide service cheaper and cheaper just to get work, not to mention profitable work. They work extremely hard for very little profit.
A small business owner who is already wearing so many hats they cannot effectively offer Sales Training and or Sales Coaching to there sales people. Because of this they often get frustrated because they know they could sell it themselves and get a better result if not for the other things they must do to run a company.
