Learning the technical photographic skills is not as hard as it may sound; we all can acquire the art of lighting and posing in a classroom. Often overlooked in a classroom, this skill helps forge a meaningful connection between the photo and subject, which results in producing exceptional portraiture.
Speaking with Tiana - the face behind the famous Tiana Creation Photography - about her portfolio of newborn and maternity photography Los Angeles, it quickly becomes clear that she acquires that rare ability. And it is not just because of any special technical skill she learned in a classroom, according to her. “Photography is not an easy task. Other than your technical skills, your personality has a lot to do with it,” Tiana says. “Toddlers often come in a little unappeased. So, first thing you should do is to observe their nature so as to create a connection with them. But once you gain that connection, they will love you and express it through amazing looks, worth capturing.
I love to meet the cutie pies, make them laugh, and capture their innocuous beauty. This passion comes to me from my home; I am a mother to four beautiful kids and often take photos of them having their own times. “While working with moms is a bit easier, you need to make sure they are in a good mood. As they are likely to be exhausted soon, my focus remains on making the session fun, and keep it going as long as they are enjoying it.” Tiana added.
