Prompt engineers make $280,000-$405,000 a year. Is writing prompts a stand-alone job already? Not really, if you ask us. From our perspective, it’s a must-have skill for any developer working with LLMs. At Flyaps, we build AI solutions and prompt engineering has become our daily routine. Here is a case study of how we used prompt engineering to build an AI chatbot that quickly retrieves information from a large knowledge base.

What does this mean for you?  Well, it means there's an AI solution out there waiting to take your business to the next level 🔥 Think about it: businesses are already saving buckets of money with AI (Yell's report throws out a figure of up to $35,000). Still skeptical? Consider JPMorgan's AI, which processes tasks in seconds that once took 360,000 lawyer hours annually. Massive time savings and, while they haven't put a number on how much they save, you can guess. So, let's not waste any more time. Check out the gen AI use cases we've outlined below to find the perfect fit for your business needs. Here you can find more: https://lnkd.in/d6iw7g7M

Would you believe it if you received such a call? 😀📲 Right before the election, voters in New Hampshire received AI-generated calls mimicking President Biden telling them to skip the primary and wait until November to vote. In our work with telecoms, we've seen a lot of types of fraud, including SMS phishing, SIM jacking, international revenue sharing, and much more. That’s why we wrote a big article discussing how telecoms can use AI as a cornerstone of their fraud detection and prevention strategies: https://lnkd.in/dDpdx7uH

Let's talk about the ethical side of AI and the existential threats it poses. Meet Anthropic and ElevenLabs. Anthropic is freshly funded with $100 million from SK Telecom to co-develop a multilingual large language model customized for global telco firms. What makes Anthropic stand out? ☝️A staunch focus on "constitutional AI," an Anthropic-developed method for aligning general-purpose LLMs to abide by high-level normative principles written into a constitution. This constitution takes inspiration from outside sources like the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, as well as Anthropic's own firsthand experience interacting with language models to make them more helpful and harmless. Then there is ElevenLabs, stepping into the "unicorn" territory with a valuation soaring past $1 billion after securing $80 million. They're developing AI-powered tools to create and edit synthetic voices for producing audiobooks, dubbing films, and TV shows, and crafting character voices for gaming and marketing initiatives. What makes ElevenLabs stand out? ☝️ It poses the existential threat to the voice acting industry, and its publicity hasn't been totally positive. So, what do you think: is AI paving the way for a brighter future or raising concerns about the ethical implications and potential job displacement?
