Here we are almost entering into Q4 2023 🤯 ... It has been quite the ride with DATALOGIQ 360! We have learned a ton about our customers needs, certification is 10x in demand and our mission to be partners not vendors is resonating. I am super excited about how we are positioned going into Q4! Lots of work ahead but also abundant opportunity. Now that we have a better sense of who we are, I thought it was only appropriate that we realign our look and feel. Same company, same mission, just new look! You can check our new website linked in the comments below. And makes sure to follow DATALOGIQ 360 here on LinkedIn! #strategy #banking #leadership

As DATALOGIQ 360 rolls into its third year, we wanted to share an update on all we've got cookin.   Our passion to work alongside people we trust, respect and enjoy is what fuels us every day in helping them elevate the value of data within the companies they work for. Highlights & Learnings: - New version of our website 👀💻 -> www.DATALOGIQ360.com - Surprise, we began as a data team ourselves, with over 16 years in industry (I personally started my data career when I was 27). Why’s that relevant? Our network from our time in industry has single handedly provide us with immediate credibility, reputation, trust, brand, clients, referrals, access to new markets. NEVER underestimate the value of a network, start maximizing your networking efforts TODAY!!! - $5 billion dollar companies are not that far ahead of $500 million dollar companies in terms of data maturity, in fact sometimes that latter is more mature. - We’re building a separate startup. Bootstrapping, cashflow positive and have turned away pre-seed 💰 back in the spring. Will emerge from stealth sometime end of year/beginning next. 🙏🏼 - Walk the walk. The amount of data programs offering 10 step hacks, 2 step tips & tricks and 90 day abs in 1 minute pales in comparison to experience. Just take the 1st step, ask for help (it’s free) and learn from your own experiences. A sincere thank you to everyone (clients and their teams, advisor, partners, friends, family, LI community and many more) that’s been a part of this journey so far. 3+ years in, I can confidently say everything we’ve learned has opened our eyes to how much more work and number of influential thought leaders is required to educate, evangelize and position data as an asset. It’s more vital than ever with all the misguided trends that will have an increasing negative impact on data. Here’s to all good things ahead.

We're launching a number of data courses and programs, curious what e-learning platform everyone is using? If it's not listed let us know in the comments e.g. university programs, Google, books etc. Anyone out there fully self-taught? What style of learning works best for you, video or text/presentation based?

Why are so many data surveys ineffective at generating value? Poorly designed surveys, especially data centric ones contain ambiguous questions or terminology that confuse respondents and fail to capture the intended information accurately. What your left with is a bunch of - don't know, N/A responses. Solution: Pre-observing and/or testing helps identify and address such data literacy gaps or other problems that need to be addressed before the survey is distributed widely.

DATALOGIQ 360 recently kicked off a maturity assessment with one of our clients to support an executive who wanted insight & guidance on their data journey. We pulled the plug after the 1st day and immediately recommended that we pause the assessment and redirect our focus to Data Literacy. What was ironic was this is a data organization that has been in place for 5+ years but we were receiving clarifying questions like: - What's the difference between data management & governance? - Is data quality the same as data analytics? For my network, where does Data Literacy fit into your journey? Is it more critical than the areas highlighted in the poll? If so, why don't data organizations just start there to ensure there is a collective ability to understand and more importantly communicate these critical disciplines? #data #dataanalytics #datamanagement #dataquality #dataliteracy #datastrategy #datagovernance
