Since 1940, the County Engineers Association of Ohio has worked to unify its members in providing the highest quality transportation, drainage, surveying and land record keeping services. From the safe and efficient movement of people, goods and services to continuing land development needs, CEAO strives to construct solutions for many challenges to Ohio's local infrastructure. Ohio County Engineers are responsible for 26,081 bridges and 28,970 miles of urban and rural roadways that are vital to the combined growth of jobs and prosperity in the state of Ohio.

Northwest Ohio is a Fishing Destination for Yellow Perch, Large Mouth Bass, and Crappie

FINDLAY, Ohio – Southwest Ohio’s public lakes and reservoirs are an excellent place to fish for saugeye, muskellunge, crappie, and hybrid-striped bass, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Wildlife. Summer is a great time to grab a fishing pole and head to the nearest body of water.

Willoughby Hills Bishop Road Bridge Project Scheduled to Start

The Bishop Road bridge project in Willoughby Hills is slated to commence at the beginning of next week.

Mayor Chris Hallum said road closure signs have been put in place for people to consider in their travel plans.

“Our road crew is out on the roads patching,” he said. “We have also completed paving on Maple Hill (Road) and Morning Star (Court).”

'Your Worst Nightmare': Logan County Horse Trainers Lose 44 Horses in Barn Fire

LOGAN COUNTY, Ohio — Brandon and Cathy Brant are in disbelief looking at their barn in Belle Center, still smoking more than a day after a devastating fire.

The fire spread quickly, with dozens of horses trapped inside. Some escaped, but 44 horses were killed.
