I wish I could give 6 stars! From booking it with Carman to the unload with Jerry and three other movers, the process was painless and beyond my expectations! I booked on short notice as our closing date had been delayed and we were coming in with a moving truck and needed help unloading. Two other highly rated movers on yelp have yet to even call or email me back!
Jerry and the three other men on his team were all in professional shirts, very athletic, polite, fast, on task, and clean. They each introduced themselves individually at the beginning which not all movers do, and were a delight to work with. They exceeded our expectations and really changed our attitude after a long 4 day drive from San Diego. I would recommend them to anyone looking for help with moving and set up. Worth every penny!

I just used them to relocate from a 1 bd rm apt to a house about 15 miles away. Sean and Nathan were great. Professional, efficient, and courteous. They were patient even though I wasn't clear on my scope of work (stress of moving). I changed my mind a few times when it came to where I wanted stuff due to the adjustment from living in a postage stamp to something with a little more elbow room.

Recommendations for those thinking about using them. Think ahead of where you want your stuff go go. Get plenty of extra boxes because you'll end up with random stuff you thought you had already packed. Speaking of packing, if you organize your boxes ahead of time as well as know how you want your furniture to be taken apart, it'll save time and money for you.

My move took 4.5 hrs and took about half of their truck.

If I could give these guys 10 stars I would! Victor and Omar were very friendly, efficient and great to work with.

They charged $110 an hour on credit card and took about 5.5 hrs for two apartments. They put everything together once in new house as well.

Overall very happy with the service they provided and would definitely use them again!

Had Roman and the team move me from my 3rd floor apartment today and they were great. Showed up on time and we're very fast, getting the whole move done in 4 hours (would of been much faster if I didn't live on the first floor). They also have very fair pricing, not charging for travel because my new place was so close to my old one.

They took very good care of my furniture, wrapping everything with blankets and plastic and packing the truck so that everything would unload easily.

During unpacking they asked where each item belonged, and we're able to navigate the stairs and narrow hallways in my new house no problem.

All in all a good experience, and I would use them again or reccommend them to anyone looking for a professional team that will get the job done painlessly.

My husband and I are recent Houston transplants. We needed movers to help us move from an apartment to our first home. Being new to Houston, I had no idea who to use. So, of course, I turned to Yelp for advice on who to call. Based on their great reviews I called ABC Movers.

It was a little confusing when I called because you either call the national number or the local number and both times I'm pretty sure it was an outsourced calling service and I wasn't sure they understood me fully. We had to reschedule our move 3 times due to home improvement work delays and they still got it right! I called to confirm a few days before the move just to be sure.

We've lived a lot of different places and now we always hire packers & movers. It makes life so much easier to not have to pack. These guys, lead by Roman, did a fantastic job! I mean they packed my wine really well. When I opened the box I was super impressed with the pack job. They took one look at all my clothes and shoes and kitchen items (we like to cook a lot) and estimated 10+ hours from door to door. It took them 8 hours from door to door. We were really happy with that. Keep in mind, when you hire packers and you literally have not packed a thing it takes even a three man crew a while.

Moving went off without a hitch too and they unloaded quickly. Several times I wasn't sure where to place things. They were more than happy to move my wine fridge around a few times until I was happy with it's placement.

They are honest and upfront about their pricing. No hidden costs or fees. They also make sure to overestimate how long it will take so you aren't upset if it ends up taking longer than they quoted. Better to over-estiamte than under.

Overall they were fast, efficient and super friendly. They had a smile on their faces throughout the whole process and I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone who needs packers and or movers. Great job guys!

Super courteous and hard working professionals. Good knowledge of how to handle furniture and delicates. Our move was about 8 hours and they worked through it efficiently.

Trustworthy group who I would recommend to friends.

I see all of the amazing reviews for this company on Yelp and wonder why heck my experience was so bad! We reserved our move date well in advance and were looking forward to a great experience with Mike and Jeremy or other similarly competent movers from ABC. Unfortunately, on our move date, three guys from a company called Movers Alliance showed up. Definitely not Mike or Jeremy. No explanation of why they were there or where ABC was.

Only one of them spoke sort of English. One of them basically did nothing and when he did, it was so slow that it was entirely inefficient. I don't know why he even bothered showing up that day. The young guy who we found out at the end of the day was actually the "lead" didn't wrap our furniture up to protect during the move even though I repeatedly asked them to, which I shouldn't have had to do in the first place. He also scratched a piece of our furniture and didn't care at all.

The move ended up taking and costing 12 hours and would have taken a lot less if these guys had actually moved with any minimal amount of urgency.

If ABC Movers were too busy to move us that day (which was a Friday in the middle of the month...not exactly a busy moving day), they should have called us ahead of time to let us know that a team from a different company was going to come instead. We were taken totally off guard. And then after the move, someone should have cared enough to call us to see how our experience was with the company that ABC sent to represent them.

If you want to use ABC Movers, make sure you find out ahead of time exactly who is going to show up on your move day. As you all know, moving is a really big, expensive, stressful ordeal. You don't want to have the same bad experience we did.

I called the week of my move to book and they were great on the phone. I actually had cancelled the move due to personal reasons as I didn't think I would get to move until the week later. Then suddenly on that Friday I was to move it worked out and I called them up to see if they could still come. I was told to expect the crew around 5 pm...which I understood as I had reinstated the move the same day.

Around 1 pm my phone rang and they were arriving. The crew of Shon and Ahad were phenomenal. I asked if they could attempt to get my 1 bedroom apartment moved in 3 hours so I wouldn't have to spend any additional funds that I had not budgeted. They told me it would be a challenge but they were up for it. They finished at 3 hours on the dot....and nothing was damaged. I am very pleased! Highly recommended.

I called in based on Yelp reviews and they booked me in over the phone. I didn't receive a confirmation email but it might have been a miscommunication over the phone. They did state all charges up front to include the 3 hour minimum charge and drive time costs. The price was fair and pretty much on par with all other movers in the area for the work to be completed.

I was moved by Jerry, Brandon, Mike, and Chris. They did a fantastic job, showed up on time and got right to work. They were able to pack up my 3br 3ba in less than 2 hours.

They paid close attention not to damage any of my furniture or houses when moving in/out. After realizing I didn't have enough space at one location they went with me back to the storage facility to move some final pieces of furniture.

They were professional, efficient, and polite. I couldn't have asked for better service. I'd recommend them for any future jobs.

Highly recommend ABC Movers, for moves within Houston or moves out of town. I'm heading out of Houston but called ABC for help loading my truck.

Nick and Sarrar were scheduled to arrive between 9-10am, but came at 8:45 and got all my furniture and boxes out in about two hours. They were efficient and high character guys. ABC brings equipment - dolley, shrink wrap, tape, etc.

An underrated quality: their customer service over the phone was friendly, quick, and accurate. All around great firm.
