Dr. Melanie Scarfone is a highly skilled dentist who earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Connecticut. She then pursued her passion for dentistry at Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2015. After graduation, Dr. Scarfone moved to South Florida and has been practicing at Sage Dental ever since. She takes great pride in understanding each patient's unique needs and works tirelessly to help them achieve their oral health goals in a comfortable environment. Her special interest in cosmetic dentistry complements her proficiency in all aspects of general dentistry. Dr. Scarfone is committed to staying up-to-date with her field's latest methods and technological advancements. She firmly believes that the best dental care comes from a combination of advanced techniques and compassionate care. Dr. Scarfone enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons when she's not in the office. Dr. Adam Schuessler is a board-certified, dual-degree Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon licensed to practice dentistry in the state of Florida. Dr. Schuessler completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Florida. He continued his training at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Afterward, Dr. Schuessler trained at Kings County Hospital Center / SUNY Downstate Medical center for six years. During his residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Schuessler performed various surgical procedures, such as dentoalveolar & 3rd molar surgery, IV sedation, advanced bone grafting, maxillofacial trauma and dental implants. Dr. Schuessler continues to attend multiple national courses to stay up to date with the latest information and advances in oral surgery & implant dentistry. After completing his residency training, Dr. Schuessler wanted to provide the highest standard of care to his patients. He became board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. The board certification process is a very demanding two-year process that includes a rigorous written qualifying exam followed by a comprehensive oral examination. This achievement demonstrates that a surgeon has achieved the highest level of clinical proficiency and knowledge in the field.

Dr. Carter is a cum laude graduate of the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in nutritional sciences. At UF, he excelled as a student leader. His superior campus and community involvement allowed him to receive the highest student recognition, induction into the UF Student Hall of Fame. He went on to earn his dental degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, on a U.S. Air Force scholarship. He continued to shine as a student leader, serving as the national treasurer for the Student National Dental Association. He also earned multiple awards, including Dean’s Community Service Award and the Delta Dental Student Leader Award. After dental school, Dr. Carter was commissioned as a dental corps officer in the U.S. Air Force and attended an advanced education in general dentistry residency at Keesler Air Force Base. After five years of honorable service, Dr. Carter decided to leave active duty to pursue his passion for endodontics. He received his endodontic training at the Department of Veteran Affairs program in Manhattan, where he operated as chief resident of the entire dental service. He was also adjunct faculty for NYU’s dental school, teaching dental students the art of root canals. After residency, Dr. Carter worked at a thriving endodontic practice in Long Island, NY. During this time, Dr. Carter continued to serve as a major in the New York Air National Guard, where he acted as chief of dental services at the 106th Rescue Wing in Westhampton Beach, NY. After another five years of service in the Air National Guard, which included a six-month deployment to Kuwait, Dr. Carter decided to move back to his childhood home of South Florida. Dr. Carter is board certified endodontist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. He is skilled in a full range of endodontic procedures, and he strives to make every patient feel at ease about root canal treatment. When he is not practicing dentistry, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and eating!

Dr. Jason Hersh is a highly respected periodontist in the Palm Beach area. He received his dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and completed a postdoctoral program in periodontics at the University of Florida College of Dentistry. Dr. Hersh is known for his expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of periodontal (gum) disease, as well as in placing dental implants. He is dedicated to providing his patients with the highest quality of care and takes a personalized approach to treatment, ensuring that each patient's unique needs and goals are met. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Hersh is actively involved in continuing education and is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Periodontology and the Florida Dental Association. Outside the office, Dr. Hersh enjoys spending time with his family and staying active through outdoor activities like hiking and biking. He is also committed to giving back to the community and regularly volunteers his time and resources to local charities. Dr. Jason Sheikh is a highly skilled oral and maxillofacial surgeon with a wealth of education and experience. A Florida native, he grew up in Boca Raton and graduated from Saint Andrews School and the University of Miami. He completed dental school at the University of Pennsylvania in 2007 and then medical school at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (New York). After completing his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, Dr. Sheikh further advanced his skills by completing a fellowship in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Charleston Area Medical Center in 2016. He returned home to Delray Beach in 2017 to begin his practice. Dr. Sheikh is a dedicated professional with a passion for running and is active in his community. His professional interests include anesthesia, tooth extraction, and dental implants.

Dr. Nada Elsharabassy is a skilled and compassionate dentist who recently graduated from Tufts School of Dental Medicine in 2022. With a dedicated passion for oral health, she has obtained licenses from the Florida Dental Association (FDA) and the American Dental Association (ADA). Aside from her professional achievements, Dr. Elsharabassy also enjoys traveling and shopping during her free time. She believes that life balance is key to overall wellness and happiness. Dr. Elsharabassy strives to provide comprehensive, high-quality, and compassionate dental care in all aspects of general dentistry. She takes pride in building meaningful relationships with her patients and is dedicated to ensuring their dental health needs are met with the utmost care and attention. Dr. Elsharabassy is fluent in English and Arabic, enabling her to communicate effectively with a diverse range of patients. Her warm and friendly demeanor makes every patient feel comfortable and at ease during their dental appointments.

Dr. Alex Margolis graduated from the prestigious University of Florida and further pursued his studies at the esteemed University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. His journey continued with medical school at New York University, and he excelled during his Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency at New York University and Bellevue Hospital Center. Dr. Margolis demonstrated his commitment to serving the less fortunate and our honored veterans at the Manhattan VA hospital throughout his residency. As a proud member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Dental Association, he remains dedicated to staying at the forefront of his field. Dr. Margolis takes pride in maintaining multiple certifications, including Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Advanced Trauma Life Support. He is particularly passionate about various aspects of oral surgery, such as dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants, benign pathology removal, facial trauma care, and providing general anesthesia to ensure his patients' utmost comfort. What sets Dr. Margolis apart is his exceptional medical expertise and his empathetic and caring nature. He genuinely strives to alleviate his patients' pain and anxiety. Even under the most challenging circumstances, he remains composed, which greatly reassures and comforts his patients. Outside of his professional life, Dr. Margolis enjoys spending quality time with his beloved family. His wife, Cheri, and their two young children, Aviva and Aidan, and their furry companion Niko, bring immense joy to his life.
