Private refers to mainly the benefits plan largely funded by employers. If you receive insurance through your employer or you are on the policy of a spouse, partner, or parent who gets insurance through work, you are using private insurance. However, individual plans you pay for yourself are also private. Any insurance plan that is not offered by a state or federal agency is private.

Desert Hope does not currently accept coverage provided by Medicare."

While we currently do not accept Medicaid, we accept Blue Cross Blue Shield private insurance. We hope this helps clarify things further.
