Public Hearing Notice

The public will take notice that a hearing for the proposed budget of the 2024-2025 fiscal year of Wake County Alcoholic Beverage Control has been scheduled for 10:00 am on May 15, 2024 at 1212 Wicker Drive in Raleigh.  The General Manager submitted a copy of the proposed budget to the Board on April 24, 2024 as well as provided a copy to Wake County Government and the State of North Carolina Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission (per NC General Statue 18B-702).  If the public were to request a copy of the proposed budget, have any questions, or wish to present…

Wake County Alcoholic Beverage Control

The Wake County Board of Alcoholic Beverage Control strives to make alcoholic beverages available for consumption, while protecting both the consumer and the general public. One of our goals is to optimize profitability, and to distribute funds in a way that benefits the community and local governments.

The Wake County Board of Alcoholic Control wants to consistently provide excellent customer service in a pleasant shopping environment. We pride ourselves on having stores that are clean, organized, and safe.

Wake County ABC is hiring both full time and part time store staff members. Full time staff start out at $20.42/hour and have excellent health/dental/vision benefits, 401k, and more. We are looking for people who will work hard and take pride in providing excellent customer service.
