On the water? Wear a life jacket
Water temperatures are increasing around the state but remain dangerously cold. Anglers, boaters, and paddlers who head out should prioritize their safety by wearing a life jacket. It's the best way to ensure an unexpected fall in the water doesn't turn tragic.
State park vehicle permits
Cell and WiFi signals aren’t always great in the parks, so try to buy your vehicle permit before your trip! If you need to buy one in the park, follow the pay station instructions near the ranger station, where the signal is usually strongest. If you only need a one-day permit, the Yodel portal is quickest.
