the We Care Foster Care organization will showcase its programs at a
fund-raising luncheon on Thursday, May 2 on the historic island of Belle
Isle.

Federal court rejects lawsuit of 11 state legislators
April 29, 2024U.S. District Court Judge Jane Beckering, Western District of Michigan, last week granted Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel’s motion to dismiss a lawsuit brought by 11 Republican state legislators against Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, and Jonathan Brater, the state’s elections director.
