With locations in seven states as well as the District of Columbia, Carefree Boat Club is one of the United States’ premier private boating clubs. The company offers members unlimited boating with high availability and a wide range of craft selections for a fraction of what owning a single boat would cost. Over the last 10 years, Carefree Boat Club has grown from its Woodridge, Virginia, origin to encompass 25 locations, mostly across the eastern United States. The club maintains six locations in Virginia, five in Florida, four in Maryland, three in Texas and Tennessee, and one each in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Washington, D.C. Club members can make up to four reservations up to six months in advance to use boats at any location they choose.

The club allows for most conceivable boating trips. Boats in the fleet range from 18’ to 27’ in length and include fishing boats, deck boats, cruisers, pontoons, water sports boats, and sailboats. Members can rent boats for an afternoon or for a day or more, including overnight trips with certain restrictions and requisite qualifications. Carefree Boat Club maintains all of its boats to a high standard, including 50-point weekly inspections of mechanics, hull condition, electronics, and safety equipment.
