The year was 2019, I was going through what was supposed to be the best time of my life. My first son was born November 2018, I had an amazing 2 door Nissan Altima, a very spacious 2 bedroom apartment in a quiet neighborhood in Allentown, Pennsylvania. My wife would always make sure everything was perfect at home. Our 2 bedroom apartment was always spotless clean, everything all tidy, everything smelling like our favorite lavender scent. It was like seeing my first apartment on the first day, but everyday. But in order to try to keep this amazing life at home, I had to wake up everyday early in the morning to drive to a job I no longer enjoyed.

One morning in early 2019, I woke up and had a tough conversation with my wife. I told her I was quitting my job, and will see what options we have available. We ended up making plans on moving back to New York City and creating a business on what my wife practiced everyday, house cleaning.

We moved into my mother’s apartment in the Bronx, which is only 15 minutes away from Manhattan by train. Right after our moving date, I got straight to work, posting flyers, handing out business cards, and posting ads on craigslist. I did everything I could to get Home Cleaning Service Manhattan NY clients.
zero clients turned into one, one turned into two, two turned into ten and so on. Many times we would take our son to cleanings until we managed to build a cleaning team.

Everything changed once I stepped out of a cleaners shoes and into a manager’s shoes. I was no longer sweeping and mopping, but contacting Home Cleaning Service Manhattan NY clients, booking appointments, and providing excellent customer service. Now I was no longer working 9-5, it was now around the clock, planning & executing daily.
